I’m delighted to welcome Andy Pope to the CIRCUIT Advisor Team.

I first met Andy when Formula E was testing its very first car — one of those moments when you could feel the future of motorsport beginning to take shape. Andy has always been close to that pulse. His broad knowledge across every form of the sport, and his deep understanding of how venues, teams, and manufacturers interact, make him a rare voice of perspective in an ever-evolving industry.

As Head of Motorsport Communications for Michelin, Andy helped shape how the brand was represented across the world’s leading series — Formula 1, MotoGP, WRC, Le Mans, Dakar, World Superbike, and Formula E among them. Over four decades in the sport, he has built trusted relationships with rights-holders, organisers, and teams across every discipline, while maintaining a genuine passion for the craft of racing itself.

It’s this blend of experience, authenticity, and curiosity that makes Andy such a valuable addition to CIRCUIT. His insight into the business of motorsport venues — from communications and branding to operational realities — will help strengthen our conversations as we continue to build a truly global platform for the people who design, build, and run the world’s race tracks.
