As the FIA World Endurance Championship heads to Austin for the 2025 Lone Star Le Mans, teams and drivers are stepping off the track to support a greater cause: the fight against hunger.

In partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB), competitors from leading squads including Ferrari AF Corse, Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Team Peugeot TotalEnergies will join volunteers in distributing food parcels to 300 families on September 4. Each package will include race tickets, ensuring that nearly 1,200 community members share in the excitement of the weekend.

The collaboration extends beyond food distribution. Through the “Race with Us Against Hunger” campaign, teams have set a collective goal of raising $20,000. Every dollar donated will help provide three meals for Central Texans in need.

FIA WEC CEO Frédéric Lequien emphasized the championship’s commitment to social responsibility, noting that rivalries on track are set aside when it comes to tackling hunger. Central Texas Food Bank President and CEO Sari Vatske welcomed the support, highlighting the importance of awareness and action in addressing food insecurity.

Together, motorsport and charity are making a lasting impact in Austin
