In 2026, New Zealand will once again host back-to-back rounds of the Repco Supercars Championship, reinforcing its key role in the international motorsport calendar. The Taupō International Motorsport Park is set to open the New Zealand leg from April 17–19, followed closely by a second round at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park from April 24–26.

Supercars officials, in coordination with local event partners, are anticipating large crowds and increased international interest. Fans will have access to various ticketing options, including early bird specials and hospitality packages. Organizers emphasize that planning is well underway to ensure a seamless and thrilling experience at both venues.

This return signals not just a sporting milestone but also a strong commercial and tourism opportunity for the region. With two world-class circuits in play, New Zealand motorsport fans are in for a remarkable April next year.

With Taupō and Hampton Downs confirmed, the 2026 Supercars Championship calendar adds significant value to motorsport in New Zealand. Fans and stakeholders can expect well-organized, high-energy events with strong community involvement. As ticket sales open, anticipation builds for what promises to be a pivotal fortnight in the racing season.
