The groundwork has officially begun for the Pradera Verde Circuit (PRVC), a premium motorsports complex poised to elevate the local racing scene. Top officials including Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda, and PRVC President Rodolfo “Bong” Pineda spearheaded the ceremony on June 22.
The track, crafted by Germany’s Tilke Engineers—famous for Formula 1 circuits—will stretch 4.8 km with 17 dynamic turns. It features multiple layouts, two club loops, and a drag strip supporting speeds up to 255 km/h.
Expected to complete in over a year, the Lubao racing circuit will enhance tourism and strengthen the motorsports Philippines scene alongside Pradera’s existing attractions.
Hissham Attya, representative of Tilke Engineers and Architects, said; “It will be a state-of-the-art facility that will accommodate a lot of interesting races, both local and international. This is one of a kind in the Philippines that will definitely raise the bar of race tracks in the country,” Attya said.
Construction is anticipated to take 18 months, with an opening date planned for late 2026 or early 2027.
