Saudi Arabia’s Motorsport Revolution Begins at Qiddiya Speed Park

In the heart of Qiddiya City, a new era of motorsport is taking shape. Set against the rugged cliffs of the Tuwaiq Mountains, the Qiddiya Speed Park Track stands as a defining project in Saudi Arabia’s pursuit of innovation and global recognition in sports and entertainment.

Created by former Formula 1 driver Alex Wurz and legendary track architect Hermann Tilke, the circuit blends precision design with the excitement of world-class racing. The layout includes 21 dynamic corners, 80 garages, and dual open and street configurations, designed to push both driver skill and engineering limits. Capable of reaching top speeds of over 325 km/h, the track also features The Blade, a remarkable 70-meter-high cantilevered section—the first of its kind globally.

Once complete, Qiddiya Speed Park will host the most prestigious racing events, including Formula 1 and other international series. Beyond elite competitions, it will open its lanes to regional drivers and enthusiasts, offering open track days that bring the professional racing experience closer to the public.

The Speed Park is envisioned as a community hub for motorsport culture. It will feature car clubs, exhibitions, trade events, and interactive experiences that connect fans with the industry’s innovation and heritage.

Qiddiya Speed Park is a symbol of Vision 2030, driving Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a global destination for sport, technology, and entertainment.
