Western Australia has confirmed the creation of a new event precinct called Perth Park. The site will include a multi-use track designed for motorsport, cycling, and community events. It will operate as a year-round venue with sport, entertainment, and recreation facilities.
Supercars has endorsed the plan and scheduled the first Perth Park street race for 2028. The
championship views the new location as a long-term event anchor for Western Australia.
Perth Park will include:
• A multi-purpose motorsport track intended for Supercars and other sanctioned uses.
• A permanent pit complex that will function as an event and conference space outside
race periods.
• A 12,000-seat outdoor amphitheatre for live concerts and large gatherings.
• Indoor sports facilities designed for community and professional use.
• A large urban-forest area with more than 150,000 trees to increase shade and improve
the public environment.
Government projections estimate that the Perth Park Supercars event will add about AU $61
million each year to the Western Australian economy. The precinct will connect with existing
venues such as Optus Stadium and the State Tennis Centre, forming a continuous event corridor for the area.
