This weekend, all eyes will be on the Cracker Barrel 400 at the Nashville Superspeedway, a highlight in the NASCAR Cup Series calendar. This marks the fifth time the series has raced on this 1.3-mile oval in Lebanon, Tennessee. But this isn't just another race; it's a lively tribute to Nashville's rich music scene.

The Nashville Superspeedway opened its doors in 2001 and quickly became a key location for NASCAR, hosting events for both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. After a hiatus from 2011 to 2021, the track made a big comeback, welcoming all three NASCAR series back to the track.

The Cracker Barrel 400 is special for its trophy: a custom guitar. This unique award perfectly captures Nashville’s musical spirit, making it a one-of-a-kind prize that stands out in the world of racing. While most races hand out conventional trophies, the Cracker Barrel 400 gives winners something that resonates with the city's identity—a guitar that embodies the heart and soul of Nashville.

Defending champion Ross Chastain will be back this weekend, eager to defend his title and add to the excitement. As the engines roar and the race begins, fans can look forward to a thrilling day of racing, all while celebrating Nashville's iconic contribution to music and culture.
